Congratulations to Where Winds Meet for winning Best Mobile Game at gamescom 2026, with RGBSOFT contributing to its high-quality art production

The gamescom 2026 Awards were announced on August 28. Where Winds Meet, the open-world wuxia title developed by Everstone Studio and published by NetEase Games, has won the coveted Best Mobile Game award at Europe’s premier gaming exhibition. All nominees in this category are Chinese games, marking a historic milestone for China’s global game industry.

RGBSOFT extends our sincere congratulations to the entire Everstone team on this remarkable achievement. As a key long-term art production partner, RGBSOFT assembled a dedicated team of over 50 senior artists and delivered full-cycle mass 3D art production for five consecutive years. Our team produced more than 1,000 environment assets, 200 character models and 100 weapon sets, covering grand ancient cities, layered forests, vast plains, lake systems and folk settlements across the open world.

During production, our team balanced rigorous historical research of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms era with stylized wuxia fantasy aesthetics. We built standardized pipelines for modeling, texturing and materials to maintain consistent visual quality while multiple teams worked in parallel. Especially, the high quality costume production from RGBSOFT received high recognition from NETEASE GAMES. In particular, our high-quality character costume production has gained high recognition and positive affirmation from Everstone team.
