RGBSOFT partnered with Tencent to deliver 3D weapon assets and full level production for this globally popular FPS title, supported by an art team of over 100 artists
PUBG Mobile boasts an extensive library of grounded, real-world firearms, covering assault rifles, sniper rifles, DMRs, submachine guns and shotguns. RGBSOFT ensured every weapon had a unique silhouette, precise material definition and authentic wear details. The firearms feature lifelike metal scratches, chipped paint, wood grain and rubber textures, striking a balance between realistic visuals and mobile performance constraints.
Working closely with Tencent, RGBSOFT already completed five full playable levels packed with realistic buildings and environmental props. The level art of PUBG Mobile blends realistic stylization with optimized performance for mobile hardware. Each map follows a distinct ecological theme with unified art direction across terrain, architecture, vegetation and props. The large open-world environments were built using a modular asset pipeline. Reusable building blocks, rock and foliage asset kits enable efficient creation of expansive terrains while preserving visual diversity. Hierarchical material setup and LOD systems optimize rendering performance. Our artists added subtle weathering details such as grime, moss, rust and faded paint to bring immersive, lived-in realism to all in-game environments.
